If you still cannot find the video you are looking for, please be aware that there is frequently little or no money in our budget for purchasing the appropriate licenses and rights for third party videos. However, if you or your department can afford to buy a streaming video, we can host it for you thanks to an agreement with one of our streaming video database vendors.
If you fill out the Pfau Library's Faculty Video Request Form as completely as possible and submit it , we can assist you in determining a video's availability and price.
Good to Know
- Sometimes videos simply are no longer available in any format, even from the people who created them.
- Third party videos must have closed captioning. English subtitles do not satisfy the campus ADA requirements.
- Streaming services such as Amazon do not sell video licenses to the academic market. Period.
- Streaming services such as Netflix do not offer institutional subscriptions.
