Search Google Scholar

Sadly, the web remains a terrible source for serious literature criticism in short form. The only source I can recommend is Google Scholar. Be sure to display the "Find it at CSUSB" button or link. Instructions here: Google Scholar and Pfau Library.

Article Search Tips

  • If looking for criticism of a specific work, do a keyword search for the title. If the title is a common word, add the author's name to the search.
  • If looking for criticism about a theme or idea, use a keyword describing that theme (like "characterization" or "discourse theory"). Add the work title or author's name if you need to narrow the search.
