CINAHL: A Personal CINAHL Account

As a student at CSUSB, you may always search CINAHL without a personal account. Creating a personal account with CINAHL allows you to save a good search, to save search results, to share results, to create alerts when new citations match a defined query, and to send those new citations to yourself. You can also set preferences to display search results. To create an account, click the link at the top right of the screen, "Sign In."

Then click the link "Create a new Account" on the right side of the screen.

Fill in the form for the account and follow the instructions to create it. Once the account is created, you may use the "Sign In" link to log-in to your personal CINAHL account with your user name and password.

In order to save a good search, to save search results, or to create alerts when new citations match a defined query, click the link "Alert / Save / Share" on the results screen.

Alternatively, you may click on the "Folder" link

after logging in to your personal account to view your saved items, searches, or to share folders with colleagues.
