The Theatre Arts Department keeps a small collection of scripts on hand for classroom use, acting exercises, etc. Check with them for further information!
Number of actors
Wilson's Play Index (REF PN1625 .Z76) has an index for locating plays by the number and gender of the characters involved.

From the script publisher "Dramatists Play Service." Does not guarantee that the library owns the script! Once you have identified a title, look it up in the Pfau Library Catalog to determine if we have it.

Use OneSearch to locate them.
Do a simple search for the title of the play.
Imperceptible Mutabilities in the Third Kingdom (appears in an anthology of the author's works)
If the play's title is short or consists of common words, add the author's name as a keyword. For example, to find Beth Henley's "Abundance," try the search: abundance henley

Best plays of (year)
AKA "Burns Mantle" and "Best Plays Theatre Yearbook." Publishes notable American plays of each year. Pfau Library has 1899-1991 at PN6112 .B45, and 1992-2007/8 at PN6112 .B457 (4th floor). The series is behind schedule on publishing, and may effectively be defunct.
New Playwrights: Best plays of (year)
Selected plays by new writers. Library has 2000-present at PS634 .N416 (4th Floor.)
Humana Festival (year): Complete Plays
The Humana Festival is a yearly celebration of short plays. Library has 1993-present at PS634 .H85 (4th floor).
Best 10-Minute Plays (for 2, 3, or more actors)
Various volumes (for differing numbers of actors), published since 2004. See PN6110.7 .B475 (4th floor).
The journal "American Theatre" sometimes includes the script of a short, contemporary play. The site below provides an index to titles and authors covered.
