The CSUSB Coyote OneCard

USING YOUR CSUSB COYOTE ONECARD AS YOUR PRINT CARD

Advantages

  • No need to purchase a Visitor Card  for printing.
  • Money on your card may be used for printing, photocopying, or for buying food on campus.

Things to Know

  • Money for printing is separate from any other money such as a prepaid meal plan on the same ID card.
  • If you ever lose your ID and get it replaced, but then find your original ID card, destroy the original because everything has been transferred to the replacement.

Adding Money

  • With paper money at a cbord machine (3 of them on the 1st floor).  No coins, or debit/credit cards.  Does not make change.
  • With a credit/debit card at the Bursar's Office (UH-035, basement of University Hall).  There may be a delay of up to 48 hours before the funds are added to your OneCard.
  • With a debit or credit card via MyCoyote.  This normally takes a few minutes.

The Visitor Card

USING A VISITOR CARD AS YOUR PRINT CARD

Advantages

  • If you don't have a CSUSB Coyote OneCard, you can still print.

Things to Know

  • Visitor Cards must be purchased from a cbord machine.
  • A one-dollar bill = one Visitor Card (85¢) + one page of printing (15¢).
  • You only need to buy one Visitor Card; it is reusable.
  • Add more paper money onto the Visitor Card at the same machine.  No coins, or debit/credit cards (even via MyCoyote).
  • Money on a Visitor Card can only be used for printing or photocopying.

Logging In

LIBRARY DESKTOP COMPUTERS

  • Your Coyote ID number identifies your print job. ** If you don't login to the computer, your print job will have someone else's Coyote ID number!**

LIBRARY LAPTOP COMPUTERS

  • No login is needed.  The number of the library laptop identifies your print job.

Troublesome File Formats

The library printers will not print Mac Pages or Google Docs documents UNLESS they are saved/exported as PDFs or Word format first.

Sending a Print Job to the Printer

These examples show sending a Word document to the printer.  The controls will look different when printing from something else, but the same functions should be available.

For normal print jobs (one copy, single-sided, all pages), leave everything as is and click the large, square Print button.
