A Student's Guide to the CSUSB Libraries: Checking Out Books, Media, & Audio-Visual Equipment & Returning Them

Basic information about the CSUSB Libraries.

Coyote OneCard = Library Card

 

- YOUR STUDENT ID IS YOUR LIBRARY CARD -

Use your Coyote OneCard, whether physical or virtual to:

  • Check out (borrow) printed books for 16 weeks.
  • Check out textbooks on Course Reserves for 2 hours.
  • Check out media (DVDs, Blu-rays, etc.) for 30 days.
  • Check out audio-visual equipment for up to 7 days.
  • Print in the library.

NEED A LAPTOP, A HOTSPOT, OR AN IPAD?

ITS Student Technology Lending

Reserve items onine, pick them up, and return them to ITS "The Wedge".

- HOW TO RETURN BOOKS & MEDIA -

You can return books and media you have checked out to either library's Service Desk.  If the Palm Desert Campus library is closed, please use the drop box located near the entrance to the Health Sciences building.

If the John M. Pfau Library is closed, you have a choice of a drive up drop box located at the main entrance to the campus . . .

- HOW TO RETURN AUDIO-VISUAL EQUIPMENT -

To prevent damage, do not use the book drops!  Always return audio-visual equipment to the library's Service Desk.
