The Certificate in Healthcare Spanish is a specialized language program for students in Nursing, Health Sciences, Kinesiology, Psychology, Social Work, and Sociology. The purpose of the Certificate Program is to prepare students in the healthcare fields to serve the growing Latino population in California.
Students completing the Certificate Program will be better prepared to serve the Latino community as they will be trained in cultural sensitivity and effective communication which will allow them to be competitive on the job market.
