Basics

The Name

The library was named after the first president of CSUSB, John M. Pfau. The name rhymes with “now” and means “peacock” in German.

The Resources

The library has about 750,000 books and nearly 150 subscription databases that access online journals, magazines, newspapers, and ebooks.

Access

Students, faculty, and staff can access all of the library’s online resources and services from off campus using their MyCoyote login prompted by the database.
