This guide will be useful to you if...
...you'd like your students to know about the library and its resources...
but you don’t feel confident about your own knowledge of the Pfau Library.
The Name
The library was named after the first president of CSUSB, John M. Pfau. The name rhymes with “now” and means “peacock” in German.
The Resources
The library has about 750,000 books and nearly 150 subscription databases that access online journals, magazines, newspapers, and ebooks.
Access
Students, faculty, and staff can access all of the library’s online resources and services from off campus using their MyCoyote login prompted by the database.
This article from College Teaching addresses integrating library research into your assignments.
