Popular pictorial news and entertainment magazines:
Jet and Ebony were marketed to a Black American audience and are specifically addressed by one of the vignettes in the Colored Museum. Life was aimed at a White American audience. All three published through much of the 20th century, making them valuable sources for photos and ads from many decades.
