Evaluating Health Information on the Internet
Sifting through health information freely available on the Internet can be a challenge. Some websites offer up-to-date, accurate, expert information. Some websites offer out-of-date, incorrect information (mis- or dis-information). It can be difficult to determine which information is credible. The National Library of Medicine (NLM) has an interactive tutorial for Evaluating Internet Health Information.
