PSYC 100 Alternative Research Requirement: Source Journals 1-4

Introduction

For this assignment, you may only use articles from specific journals. Each box on this page describes one of the acceptable journals. Each box shows you pictures with this information:

  • Title of the journal
  • Title of the database you'll find the journal in
  • Instructions for typing in your keywords to find an article in the journal
  • Instructions for narrowing your results to the last 6 months

Biological Psychology

The link above will take you to the library database "ScienceDirect," where the journal Biological Psychology is indexed. Type in your keywords and click on the magnifying glass.

 

 

Important! You must use articles published within the last 6 months. So, look on the left side of your result page. You can refine your search by year. As you survey your results, keep an eye on the date of publication, found under the article's title.

 

Child Development

The link above will take you to the library database "Wiley Online," where the journal Child Development is indexed. Type your keywords into the search box at the top of the screen.
