You found an article, clicked on the SFX button, and now you see something like the screenshot shown below. This screen is telling you that the article you chose (at the top of the screenshot) is not immediately available but it can be ordered through our Interlibrary Loan (ILL or ILLiad) service.
You can try clicking the Check for a free version in Google Scholar link (top red arrow), and you might get lucky, but you also might get just an abstract, not the full text.
No full text in Google Scholar? Click on Get this article through Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad), login on the next screen with your normal MyCoyote login. First time users will need to set up an Interlibrary Loan account with their contact information; there is no charge for the service. You will then be able to place the order for the article. Articles are delivered electronically, usually in 2-3 working days.
HINT: Sometimes authors do not allow journals to make the full text of their articles available in a database, so even though SFX found the full text for the journal, individual articles may not appear. This is rare, but it does happen. Rely on Interlibrary Loan to get the full text for you.
