My Library Account: How to Sign In

Introduction

My Library Account, a feature of the overall OneSearch system, provides many useful services for students which will be explained in this guide.  Signing in unlocks all the features.  Here's just a sample of what My Library Account can do for you when you are signed in:

  • View due dates for all items you have checked out.
  • Save lists of favorite items in OneSearch.
  • Save search strategies in OneSearch.
  • Request items from the Pfau Library for pickup or items from other libraries via Interlibrary Loan.

First, let's look at how you sign in.

SIGNING INTO MY LIBRARY ACCOUNT

 

- OPTION 1: QUICK LINKS -

On the library's website, find Quick Links on the left hand side of the screen, and click on My Library Account shown underlined in purple below.  Use your standard myCoyote login on the next screen.

- OPTION 2: ONESEARCH LOGO -

On the library's website, click on the OneSearch Logo.

Click on Sign In (top toolbar).  Use your standard myCoyote login on the next screen.

- OPTION 3: RUN A SEARCH -

Run any search and click on Sign In in the top toolbar.  Use your standard myCoyote login on the next screen.

VIEWING YOUR PERSONAL ACCOUNT

 

- BRINGING UP YOUR PERSONAL ACCOUNT -

If you chose option #1, you will already be looking at your personal account.  No need to do anything else.

If you chose option #2 or #3, you will now see a screen with a dark blue tool bar at the top.

You should see your name in the top, right hand corner.  Click on your name to open the drop down menu.

Finally, click on the My Library Account link to view your account.
