Users' Guide to Videos in Other Databases: Introduction

INTRODUCTION

This users' guide identifies some of our databases that have streaming video content although they primarily focus on other types of resources.  The amount of streaming video content will vary from database to database.

It is necessary to search these databases individually since, due to technical reasons, these streaming videos cannot be added into OneSearch.

TIP

You may be able to find streaming videos in databases not covered in this Library Guide; it depends on the databases and the topic you are looking for.  In general, to determine if a database has any streaming videos on your topic, after running a keyword search, check ways to refine, limit, or filter your search results.  Look for any called "publication type", "format", "source type", etc., to see if video is one of the options.
