LGBTQ+ History Month
The first LGBTQ+ History Month took place in October, 1994. The month-long commemoration coincides with National Coming Out Day, October 11th and the first march on Washington for gay rights in 1979.
In the United States, LGBTQ+ Pride month is celebrated in June.
