THE EVERYTHING SEARCH OPTION

The default search option gives best results when used with a very specific search since it retrieves articles from more than 150 databases, books and media from the entire CSU system, and more, all at once.

How to Search Everything at Once

1.  Run a keyword search (example: primary sources daily life renaissance women Germany).

2.  On the left side of the next screen, under Refine my results, then under Resource Type, click the box for the desired subset of your results (articles, books, etc.).

3.  Click the Apply Filters button.

NOTE: Be sure to sign in to My Library Account when using OneSearch.  When you are signed in, you can:

  • Request books and media for pickup at the Pfau or PDC libraries.
  • Requested books and media owned by other CSU libraries via our CSU+ service.
  • Submit Interlibrary Loan requests for articles that do not have immediately available full text.

Here's our guide to using My Library Account.
